Does Goldyn Studio offer beginner sewing classes?

Classes are designed for different skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced sewists. Some classes are seasonal or offered occasionally.
Do I need my own sewing machine?
Not necessarily. Depending on the class, sewing machines may be available to use during lessons. Students are also welcome to bring their own machine if they would like to learn on the equipment they use at home.
What age groups do you teach?
Goldyn Studio teaches both adults and kids. We offer dedicated kids programs and camps, as well as classes and workshops for teens and adults.
Are your classes suitable for advanced sewists?
Yes. Many students come to Goldyn Studio specifically to learn advanced sewing and tailoring techniques not commonly taught in beginner sewing spaces or online tutorials.

No. Currently private lessons are not available.

Goldyn Studio is expanding into sewing tools and specialty products for sewists, including professional-quality sewing accessories and textile-related products.
What size is Goldyn studio sewing class?
Small. Smaller class sizes allow for more personalized instruction and hands-on help throughout the learning process. Sizes range from 4 to 8 students, depending on a program.
I’ve never sewn before — will I be overwhelmed?
Not at all. We all have to start somewhere!!! Beginner classes are designed to be approachable, encouraging, and beginner-friendly. Students learn at their own pace in a supportive environment.
Do you offer gift cards?
Gift cards may be available for classes and workshops. Check the Gift Cards for current offerings.
What should I bring to class?
Requirements vary depending on the class. Students typically receive a supply list or preparation instructions before the workshop begins. Some sewing classes provide all materials.
