Sew Together – A Community Sewing Day
Bring your project. Bring your story. Sew together.
Join us on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 11am to 4pm at the Capitol Hill Community Center for a relaxed and inspiring day of sewing, creativity, and connection.
This event is for anyone who wants to spend the day sewing in good company. Whether you're finishing a garment, working on a quilt, or experimenting with something new—bring your own project, materials and machines, and enjoy the energy of a shared creative space.
What to Expect:
We'll kick off at 11am with a casual circle where everyone is invited to share one mind-blowing sewing technique—big or small—that’s changed how they sew.
Irons, thread, small supplies will be provided.
Coffee, tea, and light snacks will be provided.
Want to break for lunch? Weeds Café and other local spots are nearby.
Don’t have a machine? You can rent one for $10 when you register.
This isn’t a class—it’s a time to sew in community, swap ideas, get inspired, and enjoy the rhythm of making alongside others.
