Terms and Conditions
1. Registration and Cancellation:
1.1 Registration Fee: A non-refundable registration fee of $15 is required to secure your spot in our sewing classes. This fee covers administrative costs and ensures your place in the selected class.
1.2 Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us at least 72 hours before the scheduled class. A $15 cancellation fee will be applied, and the remaining balance can be credited towards future classes. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund the registration fee for cancellations made within 72 hours of the start of the class.
2. Safety First:
2.1 Sharp Objects: Sewing involves the use of sharp tools such as needles, scissors, and pins. Participants are expected to handle these tools responsibly and with care. Always be aware of your surroundings and keep sharp objects away from children or anyone not directly involved in the class.
2.2 Sewing Machines: When using sewing machines, adhere to the following safety guidelines:
Familiarize yourself with the machine's manual before operation.
Keep hands and loose clothing away from moving parts.
Turn off the machine when not in use.
Report any malfunctions or issues to the instructor immediately.
2.3 Personal Safety: Ensure that you are in good health and capable of participating in the class activities. If you have any medical conditions or concerns that may affect your ability to safely participate, please inform the instructor before the class begins.
3. Class Etiquette:
3.1 Respect for Others: Treat fellow participants, instructors, and equipment with respect. Any disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the class without a refund.
3.2 Attendance: Please arrive on time for your scheduled class. Late arrivals may miss important instructions and disrupt the learning environment.
4. Photo and Video Release Statement:
During the sewing classes conducted we may take photographs and record videos for marketing and promotional purposes. By participating in these classes, you grant Goldyn Studio the right to use your likeness, image, and voice in any photographs or videos taken during the class for marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), website, and any other promotional materials.
4.1. Usage Scope:
These photographs and videos may be used to showcase the activities, projects, and overall atmosphere of our sewing classes. The intent is to provide prospective students and the general public with insights into the positive and creative experiences our classes offer.
4.2. Personal Information Protection:
Goldyn Studio will take all reasonable measures to ensure that your personal information is handled with confidentiality and in compliance with relevant data protection laws. If you have any concerns about the use of your image, please contact Karolina at goldynstudio@gmail.com to discuss potential restrictions or accommodations.
4.3. No Compensation:
You acknowledge and agree that you will not receive any compensation, payment, or royalties in connection with the use of the photographs or videos, and that Goldyn Studio retains all rights to the media content captured during the sewing classes.
4.4. Opt-Out Option:
If you do not wish to have your image or likeness used for marketing purposes, please inform Karolina at goldynstudio@gmail.com in writing before the start of the class.
