Repairs and Alterations

This course is perfect for beginners, and you don't need any prior experience with a sewing machine. In just a few hours you will learn how to:

Crop a t-shirt with the original hem type
Hem pants, skirts and dresses
Take in the waist
Darn and repair holes
Re-attach buttons
Replace zippers

….. and more!

For beginners - I do not recommend bringing pants with a waistband (including jeans) that need taking in.

Please bring your projects. Everyone works on what they bring - there is no set curriculum. Feel free to bring as many as you have and see what you can accomplish in this session.

Prerequisites: none

Supplies: All supplies will be provided. Sewing machines are available for in-class use, however students are welcome to bring their own if they wish (please indicate that on the intake form)
