The Story Behind
The Pattern Weights
My pattern weights began as a simple project between my dad and me. He first made a set of square weights from scrap steel in his workshop, and later created round versions in two different thicknesses at my request.
I used them for years while sewing and teaching, and quickly realized how indispensable they were. Fellow tailors loved them, my students kept asking where they could buy them, and the classroom feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
What started as a tool made just for me has grown into a refined collection, proudly made in Calgary 🍁.
