In this 12-hour class, you’ll learn:

  • How to cut and organize pattern pieces

  • Core quilting techniques for adding beautiful texture

  • Sewing a lining like a pro

  • Intro to working with bias tape

Leave with a warm and awesome vest that’s perfect for winter. Whether for yourself or as handmade gifts for loved ones, you’ll have the skills to make as many as you like!

Pre-requisites: Some experience with a sewing machine is recommended, but not required.

What’s provided: You can bring your machine, or use one provided for you (please indicate that on the intake form). Thread and small supplies (shears, snips, seam rippers, etc) will be provided.

What to bring: Please bring your own fabric for this project. Make sure to pre-wash your fabric. You will also need to purchase bias tape. Upon registration, you will receive an email with store recommendations and more details about how to prepare for this class.
